    Lindsay Lohan – It Wasn’t A Diamond Ring

    Celebrity superstar and Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been accused of stealing not a diamond ring but a gold necklace worth £1,500 from a jewellery store at the end of January 2011. Star of Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan has pleaded not guilty to the charges, believing that the necklace had been on loan to her by the shop.

    Dressed in a stunning, figure hugging white minidress, Lindsay Lohan arrived at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse and was shortly given a £25,000 bail with instructions to reappear in two weeks time. A fan of designer jewellery and often seen wearing beautiful rings, Lindsay Lohan left the court looking composed behind her oversized sunglasses. (more…)

    Katherine Jenkins, Welsh mezzo-soprano singer famous for singing at Westminster Cathedral honouring Pope John Paul II’s silver jubilee and numerous performances of operatic arias, hymns and popular songs, has announced her engagement to her long term boyfriend and TV presenter Gethin Jones who gave her a beautiful engagement ring when he proposed.

    From meeting on the BBC Strictly Come Dancing show three years ago Gethin proposed to Katherine with one of the most fabulous rings, a £10,000 engagement ring during a romantic winter holiday in Mexico. American actress and film producer Reese Witherspoon had been dating Jim Toth for about a year and Jim is said to have recently told friends he was falling for the Legally Blonde star.

    Every girl wants a special proposal and they don’t come more special than this. At the end of her day’s work, Sam Woodward was waiting outside her office in Poole, Dorset, at the bus stop when her boyfriend and bus driver Phill Openshaw drove up in his double decker.

    According to Metro.co.uk, before setting out Phill had changed the digital display on his Wilts and Dorset bus to read “Sam, will you marry me?” Phill stopped the bus and met Sam on the pavement with an engagement ring in his hand. Without hesitation, Sam agreed and the happy couple will tie the knot shortly. (more…)

    Everyone loves Twitter. So why not tell everyone you got engaged using the mega popular social networking site. Don’t tell them, tweet them. That’s exactly what celebrity Evelyn Lozada did when Chad Ochocinco gave her a gorgeous engagement ring four months into their relationship.

    Lozada posted a photo of her ring on her Twitter page, telling followers “I’m no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!” The couple haven’t yet planned a wedding date but intend to stay engaged for some time before the big day. (more…)

    Owl Delivers Diamond Engagement Ring

    Forget pigeon post, using an owl is the much trendier way to get what you want delivered. Lovebird Jason Jenkins from Stoke on Trent had a hoot when he proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Melissa Bowen using an owl taking part in a display with Cheshire Falconry.

    During the display, the chosen messenger owl swooped on to Jason’s arm with a pink velvet bag attached to its leg. Safe inside the velvet bag was Jason’s diamond engagement ring ready for him to pop the question to Melissa. (more…)

    £500,000 Cartier Diamond Ring Stolen

    Diamond encrusted and worth over half a million pounds, Cartier’s most exclusive ring was stolen earlier today. The theives, bilingual and smartly dressed, walked into Cartier’s store in Rome and talked their way past staff claiming to be shopping for a special gift.

    Leading the investigation, Police official Paolo Guiso, said the two men, belived to be North African, worked quickly and deftly, without weapons or force. (more…)
