The inspiration for this collection came from the signature 'Painted Lady' drawing that runs through many of her textile designs. The image was created while on a trip to the South of France and inspired by New York artist Barbara Nessim's pictures of women's heads - Hence the image is known as the Manhattan Lady in her jewellery collection.The ring is made from hallmarked 925 solid sterling silver with the Zandra Rhodes Assay stamp form the Sheffield Assay Office. It weighs 5g and the ladies face stretches 1.7cm across the finger and 1.7cm length ways down the finger. It is pave set with 19 Rhodalite Garnets and 3 claw set deep purple Amethysts giving a total gem weight of 0.50ct.
