Girls Aloud member Kimberley Walsh has followed in the footsteps of her bandmate Cheryl Cole by launching her own jewellery line.

But whereas X-Factor judge Cheryl’s range is available exclusively through luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono, Kimberley’s more affordable line will be sold through Argos.

“I like jewellery, I feel at least that keeps its worth. I can’t really justify spending a lot of money on clothes when there are so many other things I could spend it on, like saving for a mansion,” Kimberley told the Daily Mail.

The launch comes less than a month after Cheryl, Britain’s unofficial sweetheart, released a rings line called Promise.
